Molina’s Philosophy
The principles that govern our work:
- We are conscious of the fact that the consumer is the priority.
- We do things right the first time.
- We assess potential damages and establish control measures to prevent contamination.
- Before carrying out any of our processes, we apply our personal protection equipment and do not work in unsafe conditions.
- We are aware of environmental issues and the adverse impacts we may cause, which we aim to avoid.

What we do to protect the environment:
Waste control
At Molina, we care about proper waste management and make use of the 4 Rs:- Reduce: We significantly reduce our industrial waste.
- Reuse: We reuse supplies in our common areas.
- Recycle: 100% of our waste is sent to the authorized centers to be recycled, repurposed or to obtain renewable energy.
- Recover: Molina personnel are encouraged to bring their RECYCABLES to the company for proper disposal.
Due to these and other actions, we managed to recycle over 50% of our generated waste, totaling almost 18 tons, in 2021.
Minimal electricity consumption
We optimize the use of electrical energy and reduce our greenhouse gas emissions by using a solar panel system that reduces our annual energy consumption by 78%. In 2021 alone, we avoided generating 9,968,825 kg of CO<sub>2</sub>.
Water treatment
We have ZERO wastewater discharge by means of a wastewater treatment plant (PTAR) that uses biological agents to reuse our water for garden irrigation. The plant treats 2,760 m3 of wastewater per year.
No gas use
We have eliminated the use of gas in all our production processes, thereby increasing safety in our plant and reducing our CO2 emissions..
